• Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.
• Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.
• Shoulder width: Measure from one shoulder seam to the other across the back.
• Choli length: Measure from the shoulder down to where you want the choli to end.

2. For Making It Smaller (Tightening)

• Take in the sides: To make the choli smaller, the fabric along the sides can be taken in by sewing along the seams. You can also reduce the length of the sleeves if needed.
• Alter the bust or waist area: If the bust or waist area feels too loose, you can take in the fabric to fit these areas snugly. This may involve removing the existing stitching and resewing.
• Shortening the length: If the choli is too long, you can shorten it from the bottom or cut the fabric from the neckline.

3. For Making It Bigger (Loosening)

• Let out the sides: If there’s extra seam allowance on the sides, you can “let out” the stitching and give the choli more space.
• Add fabric panels: If there’s not enough seam allowance to let out, you can insert additional fabric panels (like matching fabric or lace) on the sides, back, or front to increase the size.
• Adjust the neckline: If the neckline is too tight, it can be made wider by adding fabric or reshaping the neckline.
